World of Warcraft Forums -> How long did the installation of world of warcraft patch 3.0.2 take for you?

i calculated the time i have left on the installer (the part of the patch with a progress bar without pictures) and it should be done 8.3 hours from now... and yes my math is indeed correct.

My download took less than an hour. My husband (same internet connection but he got home before I did) downloaded in an hour and a half. I think it was because more people were downloading at the same time he did than when I did it.

Install and download took me about an hour and a half to two hours. But the realms were all down at the time, so it took a while to get back to playing.

Thank goodness we had vent to chat with our guildies while this was all happening.

HEHE when I knew it would take so long I just closed it i am gonna wait a day or two till the servers traffic is low and I will download it at ease

My install was done in less than an hour. The download took about 5 hours though.

The download is what takes the most time. Mine was about 4 hours in all over a bonded T1.

Installation was about 20 minutes.

It took me 40 min to download the new patch but required me to reinstall the whole game in order to play. weird
