You can make both. Most people have at least 2 level 70s (now going up to 80). I have a 71 Hunter, 70 Priest, 66 Druid.

It really depends on what you like to do. If you want a lot of responsibility for other people, then be a Druid (resto/healer). A Druid tank is also very responsible for people in raids and instances.

Hunters don't have to really worry about keeping anyone else alive or leading raids. They just wipe out the mobs. If you're going to be a hunter though, be careful not to be a "huntard" as they are called.

A large part of Hunter skill is trapping mobs that could wipe out your entire group in raids and instances. If you cannot do this correctly, PLUS hit hard enough on mobs to have your damage at or near the top of the damage charts, you will be a huntard. Nobody likes huntards. DPS (damage per second) is extremely important for hunters, agility and attack power. Also extremely important for all raids and instances.

Druid healers though I think are the most fun to play. There are so many types of heals you can throw on people, especially HOTS (heals over time) that Priests just don't have. Druid healers are crucial to a lot of raids and instances because of this. Priests, though, have huge one shot heals that Druids don't necessarily have. But a Druid can keep people's health bars steady and full better than a Priest.

So if you just want to go in and wipe everything out, Hunters are great for that. They are also very easy to level up especially if you play solo a lot. You have your own built in tank, with your pet you tame. For tanking, scorpids and alligators are great tanks. For added DPS, cats of all kinds are great but don't have as much armor.

Druids are not AS easy to level up unless you go tank (feral) for the leveling and then change your spec to Resto (healer) when you have reached 60-80, if you mainly play solo. If you can manage to play in groups all the time of at least 2 or more, and you want to be a healer you can level ok this way too.

But for solo, its very very difficult to level on a healer Druid. Go feral and then switch when u get higher level where you are mainly doing instances, and you've finished with all questing in all the zones you're going to quest in.
