They're all pretty fun, and each have different rules. Everyone seems to have their favorite battleground once they've played all of them.

-WSG is a game of capture the flag. If you and your opponents can keep your objective in mind (taking their flag, getting yours back) and keep away from the "midfield massacre," you'll be just fine. Unfortunately, much of the fun in battlegrounds IS racking up honor kills, and testing out your own skillset against an opponent's. So, a lot of the battle happens in the midfield. See if you can get a premade going. It will save on some headache.

-AB is a capture and hold type game. The more "nodes" or flags that your side can hold on to, the faster points will rack up, and the faster your team will win. You may spend an entire game defending a node and not see a bit of action. However, some people really enjoy that.

-AV is a race to the finish game. It's a blend of PVE and PVP, which means there are bosses to kill as well as players, and objectives to meet as well. The biggest complaint about AV is the queue time. Also, matches can last hours and hours, depending on how balanced the teams are. I wouldn't worry too much about going in "under the level cap," because you're eligible to go in at 50, and I remember doing so then. Sure, I racked up deaths, but people also underestimated what I was capable of. Use that to your advantage.

Try them all out and decide which you like best. Another thought is that if there is pvp gear you are wanting to purchase eventually, see what kind of tokens are necessary to buy that gear. Then, grind up tokens for that battleground.

Have fun!
